Buyer perspective
A good sample can still arrive unusable if artwork versions are mixed or pressure damages the contents in transit. Packing is a product specification: the buyer should know what enters each inner pack, how it is identified, and what the receiving team can verify without opening every carton.
What to decide
Field folio 01
Flat transfer sheets need support against bending and contact with surfaces that could mark the design. Patches with raised elements need protection against crushing or snagging. Ask for a packing trial with the actual product rather than applying one carton method to every item type.
Field folio 02
Define units per inner pack and packs per carton for each SKU and artwork revision. Put a readable item identifier, color or size variant, and quantity on the inner pack. A mixed carton should have a line-item list that lets a receiver reconcile contents against the order.
Field folio 03
Share destination, expected handling, storage conditions, and any customer-specific carton-mark rules. Confirm who owns export documents and shipping terms separately; packaging photographs do not establish customs compliance or a delivery date.
Buying matrix
The packing record should let someone who did not attend sampling identify every delivered inner pack. Use the actual line-item identifiers from the order rather than descriptions such as mixed patches or assorted transfer sheets.
