Buyer perspective
Quality control is not one final glance at a carton. A transfer, patch, label, and finished accessory have different visible and functional checks. The buyer should set acceptance evidence before production, then compare actual goods with the approved version.
What to decide
Keep final artwork, physical dimensions, color references, target substrate, and an accepted sample. Identify any tolerances that matter to the customer's use. Without a reference, a later inspection becomes a subjective comparison between photographs.
For transfers, examine placement and missing stones; for patches, edge and backing; for labels, legibility and application; for charms, hardware and packing. Choose a sample plan appropriate to the order rather than applying one generic checklist.
Photograph findings with item identifiers and note what was accepted, reworked, or held. Tie the inspection result to the shipment and approved revision so a reorder can learn from the earlier outcome.
Sample protocol
Quality control is easier to discuss when the buyer specifies what would count as acceptance on the finished item. Start with the approved sample, identify visible and functional checkpoints, and record how a failed example would be photographed or measured. Avoid treating a generic quality claim as proof for an individual order.
Name the approved sample, artwork revision, material, placement, and construction being compared.
List observable checks such as legibility, alignment, attachment, edge finish, and care behavior where relevant.
Agree how exceptions and rechecks will be documented for the exact product and quantity.
