Compare standalone dimensional patches and transfer-format logos before defining wholesale quantities, attachment, and packing.
Buyer perspective
Two dimensional logos may appear alike in a photograph yet arrive in different formats. One may be a standalone piece with a finished perimeter; another may be a transfer applied from a carrier. Wholesale buyers should name the required receiving format before asking for a per-piece comparison.
What to decide
Describe whether your factory needs loose components, carrier-backed transfers, or a finished decorated garment. Define who attaches the mark and when. The pictured transfer-style reference is visual inspiration, not proof that a separate patch build is available.
For a loose patch, inspect the outside edge, relief profile, face appearance, orientation, and supplied back. For a transfer, inspect the carrier presentation and the result after application. Keep these checklists distinct.
State inner quantity, colorway identification, artwork revision, and protection for raised faces. Ask for current minimum and lead time against that exact construction. A later change from patch to transfer should trigger a new sample and commercial review.

A dimensional face can hide important differences in packout and assembly. Select the purchase format explicitly.
Inspect perimeter, back, supplied orientation and the assembly method your factory will use.
Inspect carrier presentation and the decorated result after a garment-specific application trial.
Approve the complete garment or accessory, including placement, care label, inspection and individual packing.
Ask for separate quotes when comparing formats. They do not contain the same labor or approval scope.
