A digital color chart is a useful shortlist, not a final approval. Stone appearance can change with facet, coating, nearby fabric, and lighting. Buyers should compare actual candidate stones at the motif's finished size, then record the selected supplier codes and physical sample rather than ordering from a screenshot.
Buying matrix
A buying palette should connect each visual candidate to a supplier identifier and the actual garment. Without that bridge, a color chosen on a screen can become an untraceable description on a repeat order.

What to decide
Decision lens 01
Describe the color family, contrast role, and any brand reference, but allow a physical comparison to decide the stone selection. Review clear, colored, or effect finishes as distinct options. A printed or RGB swatch cannot show how a faceted surface responds to movement.

Build a small sample in the intended artwork and stone size. Compare on the actual fabric under ordinary and directed light and at the customer viewing distance. Record whether a dark garment, light garment, or adjacent print alters the visual balance.

Keep supplier code, finish description, stone size, sample photograph with controlled lighting, artwork revision, and approved garment. Request a new comparison if the stone source or fabric changes; a similar color name is not a substitute for the accepted sample.
