Accessory pack specification

Private-Label Rhinestone Keychain Packaging

Specify rhinestone keychain retail packs around full hanging size, brand information, hardware restraint, barcodes, and carton allocation.

Buyer perspective

A rhinestone charm may be approved as an object but still arrive in a pack that hides its motif or lets metal hardware rub the stones. Packaging must be tested with the exact assembled keychain, not designed from body-only measurements. Decide how it will hang, ship, and be identified at retail before approving the card or pouch.

Specification

Package the assembled charm, not its decorative body

A buyer has a completed bow keychain and a printed card quotation based only on the bow dimensions. The card may fit the decoration while leaving the ring and chain unsecured. Build the packaging specification from the physical, fully assembled item before approving print artwork.

Occupied envelope
Measure maximum width and total hanging drop with the hardware attached. Photograph the item in its proposed hanging position, including any tassel or swinging component that changes the footprint.
Contact map
Shake a packed sample gently as it would move in handling. Record whether the clasp, chain, or ring can rub the stones or bend the card. Change restraint rather than assuming a thicker pouch solves contact.
Retail identity
Check that the motif remains visible while the buyer-supplied variant code and barcode area remain readable. Match inner-pack and carton labels to the physical assortment before a mixed-case trial.

Sign off the assembled charm inside the final mockup; a flat card proof alone cannot validate the pack.

What to decide

Build a brief that can be tested

01Evidence file

Measure the occupied envelope

Record width and full drop from ring to lowest tassel or charm edge. Put the actual sample on the proposed card, hook, or in the pouch. Check whether clasp, chain, and decorative body can move into each other during handling.

02Evidence file

Place information without masking the item

Map brand mark, item name, variant code, price or barcode zone, and any buyer-supplied product information. Check readability on the assembled pack under ordinary store lighting. The buyer remains responsible for applicable market-specific labeling decisions.

03Evidence file

Trial the shipping unit

Pack several approved units as they would travel, then reopen them and inspect stones, metal finish, card condition, and code accuracy. Group inner packs by variant and destination so a carton count can be checked without unpacking every charm.
