A three-dimensional logo needs more than an overall thickness number. Its base, raised letters, recesses, and outer edge can have different profiles. Ask the maker to quote a specific construction and show the important levels on a side view before comparing samples or writing a thickness claim.
Buying matrix
A logo has a tall outer border, lower letters, and a flat background. The supplier receives only an overall thickness request, leaving the internal hierarchy open to interpretation. Give each zone its own role before asking for a physical sample.

Identify the surface from which elevations are measured and mark the highest, lowest, and flat zones. Add a cross-section where the logo changes level. Keep color and relief instructions on separate legends so a dark area is not mistaken for a deeper cut.
