Buyer perspective
A screenshot can explain the look of a rhinestone design, but it rarely contains enough information to reproduce the motif. A production brief should include the original art, the intended physical dimensions, and a clear record of which details are essential.
Approval gate
An art packet should let another person identify the same transfer without guessing which attachment or chat message was final.
Keep editable/vector art where available and identify any bitmap elements that need interpretation.
State physical dimensions, orientation, and the text or icon details that cannot be simplified.
Name colorways and revisions, then tie the accepted stone-layout proof to the target garment.
Only release artwork to a repeat order when its proof, sample, and revision identifier agree.
What to decide
Provide vector paths when possible, plus a reference image showing the intended result. Identify fonts or convert lettering to outlines as permitted. If only a bitmap exists, state its scale and which parts may be redrawn; do not assume an enlarged screenshot is production-ready.
Mark finished width and height, color boundaries, orientation, and any text that must stay legible. Discuss tight corners and narrow gaps at physical size. A proof should show the proposed stone arrangement, not only the original artwork.
Name files by design and revision, then save the approved proof with the target garment and placement. If a later order changes color or scale, give it a new variant identifier rather than overwriting the earlier master.
