Buyer perspective
A film label can look clean as a loose graphic but behave differently after it is applied to a garment. Buyers should identify the actual film construction offered, the receiving fabric, and the information the label must carry. The accepted item is the applied mark, not a photograph of a carrier sheet.
Specification
A label size in a file may omit clear areas or include carrier margins. Put the finished mark's visible envelope, text field, and placement on one dimension sheet before requesting an application proof.
Approve a named film construction and garment pairing, not just an artwork measurement that no one has tested on fabric.
What to decide
Decision lens 01
Send final text and logo files at physical size, including small care or size wording that must remain legible. Identify color separations and any transparent area. Ask the supplier to state which details it can reproduce with the proposed film rather than treating every digital line as printable.

Record garment fiber, knit or weave, surface finish, color, and placement. Trial the label on the actual production material using a supplier-confirmed application process. Inspect stretch, edge feel, and visual contrast on the finished item, not just the flat swatch.

Agree on care and handling observations relevant to the garment. Photograph the applied label before and after, noting any edge lift or loss of legibility. Keep the film identity, artwork revision, garment code, and accepted sample together for reorder control.
