Buyer perspective
A heart, star, and lightning bolt communicate different moods and pose different construction problems. The photographed hearts show a sequin treatment, not finished star or lightning versions. Treat each silhouette as its own sample, especially where pointed tips and narrow segments change edge handling.
What to decide
Inspection point 01
Specify outside dimensions and the intended visual role for each shape. Compare a heart's broad curves with star points and a bolt's narrow bends at physical size. Do not simply shrink one pattern grid and assume the other shapes will remain readable.
Inspection point 02
Inspect sequins, embroidery or base fabric, and the finish around tips and tight corners on physical samples. Place each patch on the actual garment color and note whether the sequin field catches or folds during ordinary movement.
Inspection point 03
Give each symbol, size, color, and backing a stable code. Confirm the quoted attachment for each build and review an applied sample. Pack similar colors separately so receiving and replenishment do not depend on recognizing a tiny outline in a bag.
Sample protocol
A heart sample may be accepted while a star point or narrow lightning turn catches on the same garment. Use the heart as a color reference only; the different silhouettes require their own edge and movement tests.
Inspect a physical star and bolt sample at the proposed size. Check sequin coverage, base exposure, and finish around narrow tips or inner corners.
Attach each to the target panel and observe ordinary bending, sleeve contact, or bag-strap friction relevant to its placement.
Record accepted size, color, backing, garment, and packing code for every symbol. A passed heart cannot release the star or bolt by analogy.
Approve the risk created by each shape, not just the visual family that links them.
