Buyer perspective

Test the actual construction
Use the final garment fabric and care routine. Inspect attachment and legibility after handling, laundering, or movement relevant to use. A patch on a generic sample cloth cannot establish suitability for every workwear material.
Specification 03
Keep claims separate
Document which statements describe the decorative component and which describe the certified garment. Request product-specific test evidence before claiming reflective, flame-resistance, or other safety performance for the finished item.
Approval gate
Protect the garment's function
Decorative approval and protective-product approval are separate decisions. A logo sample should not be treated as evidence that the finished garment meets a workplace standard.
Placement
Confirm the mark does not cover functional panels, labels, closures, or required visibility areas.
Material
Review attachment and care on the final fabric with the garment owner or qualified specialist where needed.
Claim
Verify any safety, reflective, or flame-related statement against applicable product-specific evidence.
If the decoration changes a regulated garment, obtain authorized approval or omit the mark rather than assuming the prior certification carries through.
