Soft-relief label brief

Custom Silicone-Style Labels for Clothing

Plan silicone-style clothing labels by raised geometry, fabric interface, placement, comfort, and application approval.

Buyer perspective

A silicone-style label is chosen as much for its tactile shape as for its color. The buyer should decide where that raised surface belongs on a garment and what construction will actually be supplied. A picture of a transfer-format logo is not proof that a loose sewn label is available.

Sample protocol

Run a worn-garment label trial

A dimensional label can look good on a table yet feel awkward on a moving garment. Test the actual quoted format where the wearer will encounter it.

  1. STEP 1

    Attached appearance

Inspect alignment, relief and edge on the intended fabric after the application or sewing process is complete.

  2. STEP 2

    Movement

Wear or flex the garment through ordinary motion and note whether the label bends, rubs or changes the surrounding fabric.

  3. STEP 3

    Care context

Review the same sample after the garment's relevant care routine, recording both label and garment observations.

Keep the garment model, attachment instruction revision and sample code together. A different material or interior location starts a new trial.

What to decide

Build a brief that can be tested

Field note 01

Locate the tactile zone

Map the garment while worn. Consider seams, stretch, skin contact, and washing. An exterior sleeve mark and an interior neck label are not interchangeable uses even if the logo drawing is identical.

Field note 02

Simplify relief intelligently

Separate base, raised lettering, and accent planes at final dimensions. Examine narrow gaps and sharp corners in a one-to-one proof. Define the outside edge and any intended margin around the brand mark.

Field note 03

Approve the actual format

Ask whether the quoted item is supplied on a carrier, as a component, or on a finished garment. Test the proposed attachment on the real fabric and record appearance after cooling, handling, and relevant care. Keep the sample and version code.
