Measure the complete raised label

A logo's graphic width is not the full component size. Record the finished edge, thickness and the space needed for the attachment method on the receiving product.

Face and border: Measure the outer width and height, visible mark, and margin between the relief and cut perimeter.
Profile: View a side sample for total thickness, raised accents, and any area that may catch during wear.
Placement field: Map the available garment or bag surface and clearance from seams, zippers and folds.

Keep physical measurements with the approved sample. If the next version changes its edge, it needs another placement check even when the logo art is unchanged.

Build a brief that can be tested

Field note 01

Choose the label role

Identify whether the component is external decoration, a fold-over tag, a pull tab, or an interior mark. State the garment or bag and the available attachment area. A small interior tag needs more wearer-contact review than an outer pocket badge.

Build the visible face

Provide an editable mark at final size with relief layers, color references, and critical small details. Compare a simplified version if fine lettering closes at physical scale. Review the outer contour and the full dimensions including border.

Confirm assembly and pack

Ask which sewn, heat-applied, or other attachment options apply to the quoted construction; do not assume all are available. Test on the actual receiving surface and check edges, flex, and care context. Pack variants with revision and color identification.
